These "city dogs" do well if separated from their owners because they can quickly adapt to their surroundings. They respond well to verbal communication and quick to learn.

Benefits of House-Sitting
Multiple pets
2+ pets and/or different species (cats, rodents, reptiles, fish) need specialized care. In the meet-and-greet consultation, I love to learn about how you best care for your pets. A pet-caretaker can help you feel at ease knowing your pet(s) are receiving the same quality care they would if you were there.
This is also for families that vacation together or willing to combine "pet households" for the purpose of using a live-in sitter.
Anxious, scarred, attached pets
Thunderstorms, fireworks, loud cars/street noises can be stressors for dogs. Some dogs express their anxiety though gnawing (or chewing), crying, having accidents, insomnia, excessive barking, or getting the "zoomies". For these dogs, having a comforting human to reassure them is all they need.
"Live-in" security to monitor the home 24/7
For extended trips (4+ days) you may want more control over your home.
Package you forgot was arriving? Lawn needs mowed? Sprinkler system settings? A car in the driveway and lights in the house can deter opportunist type theft/danger giving you more security.
Keeping your life connected while you are away
With house-sitting, I serve as your surrogate to keep you in control of your home.
Retrieving mail/packages, answering phone calls, basic repairs/maintenance, and home-upkeep are what make you apart of your home. I am just a text away.
